Reichhold customers for polyester, vinyl ester, gel coat and bonding paste products come from a number of market sectors including wind energy, building and construction, marine, transportation and kitchen and bath manufacturing. Headquartered in North Carolina, USA, Reichhold has manufacturing operations throughout North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.

Regional Sales Manager, Maarten van den Ouden, said: "We maintain that our quality brands should be supported by quality service. Through this new partnership our customers will gain the benefit of a dedicated and technically experienced team from the Azelis Composites International Business with many years of application experience in this highly specialised area. We expect to continue to meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations."

Gianni Ostelli, Azelis Composites International Business Director, added: "This reaffirms for Azelis the value of having a specialist focus in this highly technical application area. We look forward to providing excellent customer service and to growing the business for Reichhold."

Azelis was formed in 2001 and has pursued a 'growth by acquisition strategy', purchasing small and medium specialty distributors, whilst at the same time developing organic growth through the identification of synergies among member companies.
